A ski trip seemed like a wonderful idea in September, but was decidedly less appealing after weeks of endless winter. Still, our trip west was a good one, once I got over the fact that I wouldn’t be sipping cocktails by a pool.
We returned to another snow storm. Our car got stuck, and then unstuck, in our driveway. Our half-plowed driveway:
The kids grumbled their way back to school. It seemed downright unfair to them to have to go to school in this, even though they’ve had a score of snow days.
I myself was rather pleased to see the back of them this morning. I think a snow day may have been the final straw of togetherness….
